Halina Kwasnicka is a founder and was the head (up to the end of 2020) of the Department of Artificial Intelligence. Currently, she is a full professor at this Department. Her research interest focuses on a broad understanding of Artificial Intelligence – nature-inspired methods, data mining, and Explainable Artificial Intelligence.
