Michał Czuba

I am a Research and Teaching Assistant at the Department of Artificial Intelligence, WUST. My research lies at the intersection of complex networks, deep learning, and agent-based modelling. I am primarily interested in machine learning on graphs (with a particular focus on graph neural networks), data mining, and the modelling of spreading phenomena such as opinion dynamics and epidemic spreading in social systems.

I have recently defended my doctoral thesis in Computer Science, in which I investigated spreading processes and influence maximisation in multilayer networks. My interests have evolved from software engineering and robotics towards artificial intelligence and network science, with a broader interest in modelling complex social and dynamical systems.

Beyond academia, I am also involved in industrial R&D, which gives me experience in developing, deploying, and scaling AI methods in real-world applications.
